Ziploc decided to celebrate the real heroes on National Superhero Day, teachers across the nation. We unveiled an art installation –  large scale portraits made up of symbolic items donated by students placed in bags and containers - that celebrated teachers as the real superheroes among us. These portraits were part of a live reveal event, a public installation, fodder for heartfelt films, a call for social engagement with #MoreThanATeacher, and imagery for out of home communications. The movement even inspired a “hammer-wielding thunder god” to share some words about the teachers that inspired him.
